Owner & Chairman
Doug Quinn has his B.A. in Economics and a Management minor from the University of Calgary.  Quinn ALS is a newly formed entity which specializes in the manufacturing of Downhole Rod Pumps in the Oil & Gas Industry.  Quinn ALS offers a complete product line of barrels, plungers, fittings, accessories and heat treated tubing needed for downhole pump installations.
Doug had a promising career in hockey, however a car accident ended his dreams after being drafted to the Vancouver Canucks. For the past several years, Doug has coached hockey in Red Deer including the last four years with the Midget AAA, Red Deer Optimist Chiefs who have been 2x National Champions, 5x Provincial Champions and 3x Pacific Champions.
President
Chris Oddy is presently President of Quinn Drilling (2016) INC., Lee Specialties INC. and Lee Specialties Rentals Corp. (April 2015), reporting to the owner and Chairman Mr. Doug Quinn.
Mr. Oddy’s career in the oil and gas industry started in 1980 with Computalog Gearhart where he was employed for 12 years, holding various field positions, then moving on to Field Sales and Calgary City Sales.
In 1992 Mr. Oddy joined a small private wireline company called Plains Perforating Ltd. as a partner, which eventually grew from 7 wireline units to over 50 units in Canada, and was promoted to Vice-President of Marketing, which later became Plains Energy Services Ltd. in 1996 (formerly TSX-listed). Mr. Oddy ultimately became President of the wireline division after Plains Energy was acquired by Precision Drilling Corporation (TSX), in July 2000.
In 2001 Mr. Oddy was a founder of Savanna Energy Services Corp. (TSX). As Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer, and President of Savanna Energy Services USA, Trail Blazer Drilling, Lakota Drilling, Great Plains Well Servicing, D&D Rentals, and Ultraline Services Corp he contributed to growing Savanna’s value exponentially till his departure in 2011.
Mr. Oddy is married with 4 children and is very involved in the community, as one of the founders of Okanagan College Basketball in 2016, and in 2005 founded the Calgary Youth Development Center (CYDC).
VP Operations
Terry Berg is Vice President of Operations for Quinn Drilling (2016) INC. reporting directly to the President Chris Oddy.
Mr. Berg’s career in the oilfield started in 1984 with Cypress Drilling which later become Precision Drilling. Mr. Berg worked at Precision Drilling up until he resigned in 2011. In the 27 years at Precision Drilling Mr. Berg started as a Floor Hand and worked his way up to Senior Field Superintendent, he supervised up to 18 Rigs ranging from 400 HP up to 1500 HP including the third generation Super Single. Mr. Berg was involved in the early stages of the safety programs, SAP reporting, deployment, new builds and upgrades of many of the Precision rigs.
After his departure in 2011 Mr. Berg was a Well Site Supervisor for NAL until his employment with Quinn Drilling (2016) INC.
Mr. Berg has four children and is involved with Sylvan Lake Volley Ball Club and Sylvan Lake Minor Baseball.
